Throughout my internship in PHILIPPAKIS ART workshops , I “explored” many creative possibilities, which were a bit different from my four-year college studies and experience in Graphic Design at the Τechnological Educational Institution of Athens.
Initially, they entrusted me with the visual processing of the photos of the workshops’ objects, which were made of various metals. Paying attention to every detail, I managed through a special technique to make the object appealing , in order to impress the visitor and prospective buyer, who visited the new online store www.museummasters.gr!!! To invite him to make a purchase or to explore the handmade collection of goods! My cooperation with Ms. Liz Philippaki and Ms. Dorit Meir, who are responsible for the creation of the e-shop, and also with Mr. Dimitris Philippakis, who is in charge of all the technical and artistic production, was excellent.
As an animator, now I had to process static images! A great challenge, which I grabbed immediately! … one thing led to another, photographs, banners, brochures, events and everything else that supports a sale! I managed to learne these and many many more … and experience many issues on how to operate a small business.
Along with my contribution to www.museummaster.gr, I was in charge of the photo and visual processing of a second site, with a little different perspective, www.shine4ever.gr, which specializes in the creation of “shiny” objects with sentimental value. I was asked to prepare a visual image of a fall theme, in order to be used as a background for www.shine4ever.gr, for the upcoming autumn.
Inspired by the landscape, that one can admire, entering my village, Sosandra, in early autumn, I drew a road, paved with asphalt, that crosses through the valley and is disappearing in the distance. High mountains, and behind them the hazy sky, are depicted in the horizon. A green meadow with tall yellow flowers spread to the sides of the road. It is the road, full of sweet potatoes’ flowers , that I see whenever I return or leave from Sosandra, at the plain of Almopia.
Now, looking forward to the future and a post graduate degree in animation, I am ready to fulfill my military service and discover a new world of opportunities …!
